Solenoid Valves for Dust Collector Systems
- Challenges: Large industrial environments such as chemical plants, flour mills, and wood cutting facilities often have high PM2.5 and dust concentrations, increasing the risk of dust explosions.
- Solutions: We designed the DMF-Z/DMF-Y/DMF-DD series pulse-jet solenoid valves to reduce airborne dust content by up to 99%.

Case: Wood Cutting Plant in New Zealand
SENYA’s pulse solenoid valve dust removal system uses an intermittent negative-pressure adsorption principle, where the solenoid valve precisely controls pulse cycles and intake air volume. The system’s vertical downward airflow design (air velocity 15-18 m/s) guides dust-laden air through a three-stage filtration unit:
- Primary stainless-steel filter captures large particles;
- Medium-efficiency fiber bag filter traps PM5 and larger particles (filtration efficiency ≥99.2%);
- Final-stage HEPA cartridge ensures the exhaust air meets OSHA emission standards.
The purified air is then discharged through a top circular outlet and recirculated back into the workshop, reducing dust concentration to below 1mg/m³ in enclosed operation.
